I'm a cat lover. Not just any ordinary cat lover, but I'm like Yasmine of Cat Versus Human (please check out her blog, she is hilarious!).
Growing up, I never had kitties due to my dad's severe allergy to them. I didn't last a month on my own in my new apartment before I decided to adopt Murphy by way of CAP (they save lives!). Murphy aka Murphybug aka Murphdizzle needed a friend so I visited CAP again and voila! Along came Jenny!
It was definitely not love at first site, but Jenny tolerates Murphy's teenage kitty antics (while barely tolerating myself but then again, I'm just the owner and disher-outter of cat kibble), and I think it's safe to say that they love each other now. *Update* I have a new addition and his name is Henry! Some asshat dumped him when he was a whopping 1.5 pound baby in our garage where I work. I ended up taking him home to foster him until he was big enough for the SPCA and surprise surprise, the little munchkin is here to stay.
On a day to day basis, Murphy and Jenny can be found napping in my bed, on the window sill, in their kitty basket, playing with crap they've found in the trash (Q-tips everywhere), eating lots of kibble (go grain free!), playing tag late at night while I'm trying to sleep, and generally ruling the 600 square foot apartment that is their kingdom. You can now add Henry terrorizing the both of them to this list. :)
I love them very much. :)
